WOBBLER
PROGRAM |
Our infant/toddler room is a valuable part of our center
with experienced teachers and a low teacher/child ratio. It
is a warm inviting room set-up to allow the children to
explore and experience the world around them. This room is
designed to be flexible to meet the needs of each child.
Throughout the day children are given ample opportunity to
develop and strengthen their skills in a safe, stimulating
environment with plenty of room for the children to explore,
experience, and play.
At Amazing Kids, we strive to meet the needs of the whole
child and our curriculum is always designed to provide a fun
learning environment.
As infants transition to toddlers they reach new milestones
in their development daily. Their movements become more
coordinated and purposeful as they learn about their bodies
and the world around them. Through their senses, movement
and exploration they go from babbling to talking, scooting
to walking, and begin to develop a sense of self.
At Amazing Kids, we provide child centered environment with
numerous opportunities throughout the day for the children
to participate in various child initiated activities. Each
day we have fun and learn through songs, finger plays,
dancing, games and interactive books. This time also
allows for the children to begin to observe, imitate, smile
at each other, and use their senses for discovery. It is
also the beginning of them learning to share, take turns,
and care about others.
Our staff is always there as positive role models to
facilitate conversation and model language to help them
verbally express their feelings, and most of all create an
atmosphere where each child feels happy and secure as they
develop at their own pace.
